 RIDICULE
Versaille 1780
The young baron Grégoire Ponceludon de Malevoy goes to the court of Louis the XVI to try
to get funding to drain the fiever infested swamps of his titled lands. But before being
granted an audience with the King, he must first survive a trial of wits in the salon of
the Countess de Blayac, where to be found " adulé " means that all doors are
open, but to blunder is to be sent away in the cruelist of ridicules.
